  1. Rowen Negrin says:

At the World Green Energy Symposium in Philadelphia, Pa in Sept. 2009 Gulf Stream Turbines LLC, presented a submersible turbine for use in the Gulf Stream Ocean Currents off the coast of SE Florida. Each 1.2 MW turbine could offset up to 13,000 tons of CO2 emissions compared to a coal fossil fuel plant, and about 6,000 tons compared to a natural gas plant. Why isn’t the government throwing money at them to develop their technology? The capacity is 85% to 90% and the dollars needed are a non event. Anyone wanting more info please contact Rowen Negrin at 954 907 2254 or rowen@gulfstreamturbines.com

  2. Thanks for that info – I was planning to go to this – you reminded me

  3. I was going to go, but I guess I missed it for this time around.
